CITIBANK AND SENEGOCIA.COM IN CHILEAN B2B ALLIANCE

The alliance permits Senegocia.com to offer payment options to its clients. Citibank will offer online payment services, enabling companies to quote and vid their products, as well as to complete their procurement processes through Senegocia.com. The strategic partnership is part of Citigroup´s expansion into the e-Business sector, consolidating its penetration into the Latin America. Citigroup is active in 100 countries worldwide in 24 countries and terntomes in Latin America and the Caribbean. Citibank, a nember of citigroup, has been servicing its Latin American clients for over 80 years. Created in April 2000 Senegocia.com is an auction site for raw materials, products and services. A total US$ 20 million in products has been traded over the past four months.
